Hyundai Launching Autonomous Tech This Year

In a surprising announcement this April, executives at Hyundai told reporters that they will be introducing several new autonomous features to their lineup, starting as early as this year.

“US News & World Reports” has named the 2015 Hyundai Sonata the “Best Midsize Car for Famlies.” Known for their precise and studied rankings of everything from cars and schools to jobs and travel, “US News” called out the Sonata’s comfortable and roomy interior, as well as its family-friendly features and smart tech amenities.

The Chicago Auto Show saw a lot of debuts last month, but one of the biggest premieres was Hyundai’s newly refreshed 2016 Elantra GT. The new Elantra GT will boast a larger front end that features wide, horizontal slats with chrome accents.

The Detroit Auto Show saw some great new concept cars this January, but one of the most talked about was Hyundai's new HCD-15 Concept a.k.a the Santa Cruz. This new "trucklet" is an interesting combination of crossover and pickup truck that is being specifically marketed to Millennials.

Hyundai has just announced its new infotainment system. Built to integrate smartphone technology more fully into the infotainment system of its cars, this new tech system is called the "Display Audio System" and will appear in several of Hyundai's new 2016 models.

Hyundai is debuting new updates on the new 2015 Azera. The sedan is undergoing a few slight changes for its newest model year with the biggest updates being on the newly standard features, including lane change assist and blind-spot monitoring, as well as the hands-free trunk opener, illuminated door sill plates and the 8-inch touchscreen.

Arizona drivers already love the Santa Fe, which has won multiple awards over its life including the Best Car for the Money award for last year's model. This year, Hyundai is giving the Santa Fe even more amazing features, including new electric power steering, an enhanced suspension and several new standard features.

Working with the powertrain maestros at Bisimoto Engineering, Hyundai has created an unbelievable powerhouse in their 2015 Sonata that will rate at 708 horsepower. This new Sonata will be the most powerful version of the car yet, and offer even more horsepower than the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat (which has claimed 707hp).

The 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe has been racking up awards since it arrived on the scene last year and there's no signs of its success slowing down anytime soon. U.S. News & World Report is the latest publication to honor the redesigned crossover, naming it a Best Car for the Money during their 2014 awards of the same title and cementing the Santa Fe as one of the top SUVs on the market.
