What's New for the 2026 Hyundai Sonata?

The 2026 Hyundai Sonata doesn't change much - it's still a sharp-looking midsize sedan with a roomy cabin, comfy seats, and plenty of features. The lineup's been simplified: the old SEL and SEL Convenience trims are now combined into a single SEL Sport. Available all-wheel drive and other performance-minded options keep the Sonata competitive.

What Are the 2026 Sonata Trims & Features?

The 2026 Hyundai Sonata's gas lineup consists of three trims.

The base model is the SE. This trim has LED headlights and 16-inch wheels on the outside. It includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker sound system, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.

Next up, the new SEL Sport has larger wheel options (up to 18 inches), a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a wireless phone-charging pad. It also includes comfort upgrades over the SE, such as heated front seats, heated and power-folding side mirrors, dual-zone climate control, and a power-adjustable driver's seat. The SEL Sport is also the only gas trim optioned with all-wheel drive.

The N Line follows with even larger 19-inch wheels, sportier exterior styling, bolstered front seats, trim-specific interior details, and an upgraded audio system.
