The award-winning 2014 Hyundai Veloster continues to be highly praised this year and its latest achievement is a five-star crash test rating by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. As the mecca of all ratings handed out by the NHTSA, the five-star score is an absolute honor to have, and for the Veloster to undergo tests in the five-star category for the first time, and receive the high rating, is astounding.

Benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the event aimed to raise awareness for mental health throughout the state of Arizona and eliminate the stigma associated with those who suffer from it.

Kelley Blue Book recently announced their decision to hand over the prestigious award to the Veloster Turbo, as a part of their annual Cost to Own Awards, after it beat out a wealth of competitors in the Sport Compact Car category.
