What's New For the 2020 Hyundai Veloster?
For the 2020 model year, the Hyundai Veloster remains mostly unchanged. The Turbo Ultimate no longer comes with a six-speed manual transmission. Rearward cross-traffic monitoring and blind-spot warning are now standard on Turbo R-Spec models. All versions now come with cargo hold tie-down points.

Which Trims & Features are Available for 2020?
The 2020 Veloster is available in six different trims as shown below.
The 2.0 has a six-speed manual gearbox, 17" alloys, selectable drive modes, a driver's side blind spot mirror, collision warning, lane keep assist, heated outboard mirrors, a backup camera, auto headlights, a rear window wiper, power windows and locks, AC, tilt/telescoping steering, keyless entry, a 7-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and smartphone integration.
The Veloster 2.0 Premium has a six-speed auto transmission, 18" alloys, an 8-inch touchscreen with satellite radio, Infinity audio, wireless device charging, BlueLink telematics, auto climate control, heated front-row seats, cloth upholstery, and proximity entry.
The R-Spec doesn't come with heated front seats, but it does get a turbo engine and sport suspension, LED headlamps, Michelin tires, alloy pedals, and adjustable rear-row head restraints.
The Veloster Turbo gets heated front-row seats, a power sunroof, a driver's seat with power lumbar support, auto windshield defogging, and seven-speed auto transmission.
Turbo Ultimate versions get pedestrian detection with forward collision notification, rain-sensing windshield wipers, navigation, adaptive cruise control, a heads-up display, and leather seating.
Veloster N models get a 2.0L engine with 250hp, a six-speed manual transmission, a backup camera, a driver's side blind spot mirror, proximity key, AC, cloth upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, Infinity audio, and smartphone integration. An available performance package adds 19" wheels, a limited-slip differential, upgraded brakes, and variable exhaust timing.

A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency
Base Veloster models are powered by a naturally-aspirated 2.0L engine offering 147hp. When it's mated to a six-speed manual transmission, it gets 25mpg city/33mpg hwy. Turbo models get a 1.6L turbocharged engine with 201hp; manual transmission versions get 26mpg city/33mpg hwy. N models with the turbo 2.0 get 250 or 275hp, depending on how they're optioned.
2020 Hyundai Veloster Safety Features
The 2020 Hyundai Veloster gets standard ABS, frontal and side-impact airbags, electronic stability and traction control, and more. Driver assistance features include auto emergency braking, driver attention monitoring, and lane-keep assist. Options include adaptive cruise control, cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot warning. Though the Veloster hasn't yet been crash-tested by the NHTSA, it has been tested by the IIHS. It received a "Good" rating in all tests and it received the Top Safety Pick designation.
