In 2019, the Tucson comes with an even more impressive array of standard safety features. It also gets a new drivetrain and more custom options, both inside and out, to give consumers options for a customized look. The Tucson also gets some external changes, such as a new taillight design and the addition of LED lights, which are standard on all trim levels, to help it stand out from the crowd in the saturated and competitive midsize SUV market.

Which Features are Available on the Tucson for 2019?

This year, there are six trim levels of the Tucson to choose from. The base model is called the SE. This year, the SE gets a nice upgrade to a seven-inch display screen for its infotainment-entertainment system. Previously, the base model only came with a five-inch touchscreen. But in addition to getting a larger display screen, you'll also get more technology. This year, the base model's infotainment system comes standard with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has iPhone compatibility so that you can get directions, safely send and receive messages, and make phone calls on the go.

A six-speaker sound system is standard, and you have two color choices for the cloth seats. Along with the infotainment system, you get a 3.5 driver display screen with real-time performance information. Next in line is the Value. This trim adds satellite and HD radio and Bluetooth to the infotainment system. It also has a push-button start. Progressing to the SEL, you'll get heated front seats and a driver's seat that moves in eight ways.

There is also a second USB outlet in the back row. Dual-zone AC is standard on this trim, and it comes with a cabin air filter to keep the air clean. The Sport trim level gets a distinct exterior look with the addition of LED daytime running lights in the front and LED lights in the back. Front fog lights are also standard and LED accents to add a nice finishing touch. On the interior, you'll get an upgraded eight-speaker audio system.

You'll be able to distinguish the Limited from the outside with its chrome-accented grille and premium side gills. Leather seats are standard in this trim, and the passenger's seat can also move in eight ways. A leather-wrapped steering wheel that is also heated adds luxury and comfort to the cabin. Finally, the Ultimate adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and heated seats in the back row with multiple heat settings. In this trim, the driver's display screen is larger at 4.2 inches instead of 3.5 inches.

Available Powertrains on the 2019 Hyundai Tucson

In 2019, there are two engines that power the Hyundai Tucson. The standard engine in the first two trims is a 2.0L, four-cylinder engine that produces up to 161 HP at 6,200 RPM and up to 150 LB-FT of torque at 4,000 RPM. The second engine, which is standard on the SEL and up, is a more powerful 2.4L, four-cylinder engine that produces a maximum of 181 HP at 6,000 RPM and up to 175 LB-FT of torque at 4,000 RPM. Front-wheel drive is standard, but you can upgrade to all-wheel drive on all trim levels if you prefer.
