New 2014 Hyundai Tucson Review | Tucson Comparison For Phoenix, AZ

Camelback Hyundai Previews the New Tucson

Even if you're not pumped about Hyundai's 2014 "The Walking Dead" special edition Tucson - a limited edition production model to be offered in celebration of Hyundai's association with that graphic novel series - you should be looking at the 2014 Hyundai Tucson if you're in the market for a superb all-around vehicle. New for 2014, the Tucson crossover SUV is equipped with the latest in performance enhancing technology in the form of a 2.4-liter Theta II GDI engine. These advanced gasoline direct injection engines increase torque and engine responsiveness.

All Tucson models are roomy crossovers, seating five with 39+ inches of front and rear headroom and 41.2/38.7 inches of front/rear legroom. You'll also find Hyundai's Active ECO System in all Tucsons. Active ECO works with the engine and 6-speed automatic transmission to smooth out throttle response and net up to a seven percent increase in real-world fuel economy. Non-zombie apocalyptic 2014 Hyundai Tucson models for sale in Phoenix are the GLS, SE and Limited. The base GS model starts at only $21,450 MSRP and employs a 2-liter GDI dual overhead cam 4-cylinder engine that produces 164 horsepower, delivering 23/29-mpg city/highway EPA estimated fuel efficiency.

Base standard equipment includes: remote keyless entry with alarm; projector headlights with stylish LED accents; rear spoiler with LED brake lights; 2-stage reclining, split-folding rear seats; power window and door locks; steering-wheel-mounted audio, Bluetooth and cruise controls; and a 160-watt AM/FM/XM/CD/MP3 6-speaker sound system with iPod/USB input. The 2014 Tucson SE and Limited are equipped with a more powerful standard GDI engine outputting 182 horsepower and capable of towing up to 2,000 pounds. These models also offer additional features like 8-way powered driver seat, 4.3-inch color touchscreen audio display and rearview camera. The Limited adds leather seats, a nifty retractable cargo cover, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and Hyundai's Blue Link system along with the option for upgrading the stereo system and adding a 7-inch touchscreen navigation system.
