Hyundai Motor Group continues to prove its commitment to a sustainable future. With the help of Glovis America, it recently deployed 21 Hyundai XCIENT hydrogen-powered electric semi-trucks for clean logistics operations. According to Hyundai, these zero-emission trucks will transport vehicle parts from HMGMA suppliers across the region to the automaker's Metaplant facility.
While the operation will begin with a temporary hydrogen refueling station, a permanent one will eventually be built on the grounds. This venture could help revolutionize the trucking industry. Compared to diesel and other fuel types, hydrogen produces far fewer emissions.
