Do you and your family love going to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix for some fun and educational family time? Then you’ll be happy to learn that the museum is hosting a “play date” for grown-ups on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, as a fundraiser for this local Phoenix institution.
This month’s theme is Pokémon Go, and it’s the perfect opportunity to not only catch some Pokémon that you haven’t nabbed yet, but also a chance to have fun with some fellow grown-ups.
According to the museum’s’ website, “With over 20 Pokémon on-site and 3 PokeStops, Play Date at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix is your chance to catch ’em all! For your gaming convenience, we’ll be setting lures all night!”
Other fun activities will also be included, such as many of the museum’s fun interactive exhibits, as well as some old favorites like Giant Jenga, Twister, Giant Beer Pong and Atari video games. There will also be music and dancing, a photo booth, and several food trucks, including Kruzin Cuisine, DeMarco’s Italian Ice & Creams, Frites Street and CarH’s Kitchen LLC.
