Celtic Woman Comes to Phoenix May 19

Award-winning music sensation Celtic Woman is coming to ASU’s Gammage Auditorium as a part of their 10th Anniversary World Tour. Celtic Woman is an all-female ensemble that performs Irish classics and contemporary pop hits with their own signature ethereal style. The group has been entertaining the world for over a decade and this new tour is a celebration of all their past hits.

"We're celebrating ten years of Celtic Woman," said original member Máiréad Nesbitt. "We're very, very excited... It's been quite the journey from that first night at the Helix Theatre in Dublin, and here we are ten years later, and the show has changed so much. I think it's a very dynamic show and a great experience,” she added.

ASU Gammage – thanks to its famously acoustic-friendly design – will offer an ideal setting to fully experience the magic and beauty of these fantastic Irish singers. The concert takes place this Tuesday, May 19, 2015 and will feature a full band, bagpipers, a choir and Irish dancers. Emmy-nominated music producer David Downes will be directing the concert, which is sure to be a terrific musical experience for all ages.

For more information about the concert and to buy tickets, visit Gammage’s website. We hope to see you at ASU Gammage this May!
