2021 Hyundai Sonata Exterior

What's New For the 2021 Hyundai Sonata?

The Hyundai Sonata had a significant update for the 2020 model year. For 2021, this sleek, dramatically styled sedan gets even more options. New this year, Hyundai debuts the performance-oriented N Line trim, with more power and precise handling. There are also some changes to the other trims, including now-standard 19-inch wheels for the SEL Plus. The Sonata is the remedy for tired sedan styling, bringing a unique perspective of what great design can be.

Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

There are five core Sonata trims in 2021 with the N Line's addition, which now tops the lineup. The first trim in the series is called the SE. It includes a standard eight-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It has standard LED lights and a variety of advanced safety support.

Next, the SEL gets additional conveniences such as a hands-free trunk opener, remote start, heated front seats, and heated side mirrors. A convenience package is available with a digital instrument display, another USB port, and wireless charging. The SEL Plus upgrades its seating material to simulated leather and suede upholstery. It also adopts all the features in the convenience package. You can also get a larger 10.25-inch display screen and a Bose sound system with the tech package.

The Limited adds parking collision-avoidance assistance, a surround-view monitor, ventilated front seats, and smartphone driving aids. You have the option to get a head-up display with the Limited as well. The N Line trim adds special badging, quad exhaust, black trim on the lower bumpers, and unique side skirts and rear diffuser for the exterior. The interior features red trimming, chrome accents, sport seats, and N Line badging throughout.
