The 2015 Hyundai Sonata has just recently begun arriving in dealerships throughout the country, and to better serve drivers interested in purchasing the sedan, Hyundai has just revealed that they will be offering a brand-new powertrain with it, giving life to the 2015 Sonata Eco. Scheduled to go into production in late summer, the Eco will provide excellent fuel economy and come with all of the Sonata SE's standard features. Buyers will benefit from its low gas mileage and be able to enjoy the perks that come along with owning a high-quality Sonata.
The Sonata Eco's instant appeal comes from its estimated 32 mpg combined fuel economy. Ten percent better than the SE's combined rating, the Eco also provides an EPA estimated 28 mpg city and 38 mpg highway. The car's 1.6L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 177 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque, helps support these numbers and is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission - the first of its kind outfitted on a Hyundai. In addition to the powertrain, the Eco also comes with a series of features, including a five-inch touchscreen display, a rearview camera, automatic headlights, a chrome grille and a 10-way power driver seat.
If you're looking for a car that exceeds expectations and produces outstanding fuel economy, the 2015 Sonata Eco is the right sedan for you. Wait for its arrival at Camelback Hyundai and we'll be sure to get you in one as soon as possible.
